I�saved three little earthworms today from certain death at the hands of the pressure cooker that is the glass enclosed foyer leading into my workapos;s office building. �

Every time it rains, the little buggers come out, only recently though they started sneaking into the foyer.� While itapos;s raining this is ok.� However, once the rain stops and the sun comes out, that place becomes superheated.� Iapos;ve seen plenty of other worms become little crispy critters due to their poor judgment in rainy weather shelter.� So I�picked them up and placed them outside in a not-so-rain soaked section of the garden.

And much to my own amusement, I�got to enjoy the girly squeals and surprised stares of a couple of co-workers who couldnapos;t believe I�didnapos;t have a problem reaching down and picking up these wiggly squirmy slimy looking things with my bare hands.

Really.� I�thought they were all rather cute. �
